Vivenar is built around a few specific mechanisms that reduce risk for guests and hosts booking furnished stays in Mexico City.
Request-to-book
Every stay starts with a booking request. Hosts review and accept or decline before payment is offered. Vivenar is not instant book.
Profiles before requests
Guests complete profile, email, phone, and photo requirements before requesting. Hosts complete account and Stripe payout setup before accepting paid bookings.
Payments through Stripe
Payments are completed through Stripe Checkout after a host accepts your request.
Calendar sync
Hosts can connect external calendars via iCal. Sync helps keep availability current and reduces double-booking risk. It does not guarantee perfect availability in every case.
What to know before you book
- Travel or rental insurance is not included through Vivenar.
- Homes are listed by hosts; Vivenar does not inspect every property in person.
- Each booking request is reviewed by the host before payment.
- Calendar sync helps hosts keep availability current, but hosts are still responsible for checking availability before accepting.
