Pricing for medium-term stays
Hosts set the price for each listing. Guests see the full breakdown before paying through Stripe.
Before you pay
Host sets the stay price. You see the full breakdown before requesting.
Guests do not pay a separate Vivenar service fee. Hosts pay a 5% platform fee billed separately.
Payment happens after the host accepts your request.
All payments are processed through Stripe.
What Vivenar charges
Hosts pay a 5% platform fee on stay payments received through Vivenar. Vivenar bills this fee separately and does not add a separate service fee for guests. IVA is added to Vivenar's fee, bringing Vivenar's total charge to 5.8%. Stripe processing fees are deducted separately from stay payments.
What guests pay
Each host sets nightly pricing and any fees shown on the listing. When you send a request, you are not charged yet. Hosts review each request before payment is offered.
If a host accepts, you complete payment through Stripe Checkout. The amount, deposit or balance split when applicable, and due dates are shown in the booking flow before you pay.
When payment happens
You pay only after a host accepts your request. If the host accepts, you have 24 hours to start the required payment through Stripe Checkout. The amount depends on how far away check-in is when the host accepts.
- Check-in is more than 14 days away
- You pay a 20% deposit to confirm the stay. The remaining 80% is due 14 days before check-in.
- Check-in is 14 days away or sooner
- You pay the full amount to confirm the stay.
Host payouts and Vivenar fees
Hosts receive stay payments through their connected Stripe account. Stripe deducts its processing fee before payout, and the amount can vary. Vivenar does not hold guest stay funds.
Vivenar bills hosts separately for the 5% platform fee on payments received through Vivenar. Hosts must complete Stripe payout and billing setup before publishing.
Payout timing follows Stripe's standard schedule for connected accounts.
Currency and conversion
Listings are priced in Mexican pesos. Stripe may show an equivalent amount in another currency depending on your payment method, card, or location. Your bank or card issuer may apply its own exchange rate or fees.
Taxes and local responsibilities
Hosts are responsible for applicable local taxes, permits, and compliance for their property unless otherwise required by law. Vivenar does not provide tax or legal advice. Consult a qualified professional for your situation.
